Check out the latest issue of The Ski Journal. They published my photo in their Special Edition Photo Book Vol. 3, N. 4, 2010. You can order it from http://www.theskijournal.com/
In November 2006, Ryan Hokanson, Jason Kwiatkowski, Karen Hilton, and I left the small town of El Chalten in southern Patagonia with a broad objective: Our primary focus was to kite ski and possibly climb some smaller peaks on the Southern Patagonia Ice Field. We planned for 18 days with a few extar days of food and spent our first four days battling crazy winds and sideways rain and snow; a preview of more to come. We were fortunate to enjoy one of only three nice days ski kiting around the western side of 10,000-foot Cerro Torre in an area known as Circo de Los Atlares-this ended up being the highlight our whole trip.

CONGRATULATIONS Heather! Incredible photo.
Hi Heather. Long time since we talked. Am coming to AK next week; will be at the Yurt with Bill, Caleb, Kate, and maybe Betsy. Looking forward to exploring and creating panoramas & night shots. You around?
Randy
Love the photo, Heather.
